Terri Zumbrum

Terri Zumbrum joined Lyon County State Bank in July 2014 as Retail Officer and Branch Manager. She began her career in the financial industry in 1982 as a Teller with Citizen National Bank and continued to work in customer service until 1985, when she joined The Credit Bureau of East Central Kansas as an assistant manager. In 1989, Terri joined Columbia Savings & Loan as a loan secretary and was later promoted to a Personal Banker and then Teller Supervisor. In 1997, Terri began working for Nations Bank, who was the successor to Bank IV, and later acquired by Bank of America in 1998, where she continued to serve as an Officer and Assistant Manager for the Emporia, Kansas, branch.

Terri was born in Chicago, Illinois, and lived in Colorado before eventually moving to the Emporia area.  She graduated from Emporia High School in 1981, and continued her education at Emporia State University.

Terri sits on the Board of the Americus Township Library, where she had previously served eight consecutive years as Treasurer. Terri has lived in Americus, Kansas, for the last 30 years, and is an advocate for both the Americus and Emporia communities.

In November of 2014, Terri was named head of Retail Banking making her responsible for the consumer and small business experience, as well as the overall sales of deposit products and services offered within the banking centers. In February of 2016, Terri was promoted to Vice President and continues to serve as the Retail Banking Manger for Lyon County State Bank.
