You can open your new deposit account by stopping by one of our convenient locations. Accounts can be opened as you arrive or by scheduling an appointment with one of our Customer Service Representatives.

What to Bring With You

To open your personal accounts, you will need to provide two forms of identification—one form of unexpired primary identification and one form of secondary identification; or two primary forms.

Primary Identification includes the following acceptable documents:

  • Driver’s License, issued by a State or Territory of the US
  • State Identification Card, issued by a State or Territory of the US
  • US Passport
  • US Government ID
  • US Military ID
  • Alien ID, which includes Permanent Resident Cards and US Employment Authorization Cards
  • Foreign Passport, with photo and valid I-94 or I-551 card or stamp

Secondary Identification includes the following acceptable documents:

  • Social Security Card
  • Bank Credit or Debit Card
  • Voter’s Registration
  • Birth Certificate, issued by a State or Territory of the US
  • Insurance Card or Medicare Card
  • Company ID Card
  • Police ID Card
  • ESU Student ID Card
  • State or local government ID
  • Vehicle Registration
  • Sales Tax Permit

If you have recently moved and your identification documents do not show your current address, you will also need to bring in documents to verify your new address. This would include:

  • Utility bill bearing the name and address being used to open the account
  • Rental or Lease Contract for your current residence
  • Documentation of home ownership for your current residence
